<p>A woman was killed on the spot after she was run over by a goods vehicle at 8th Mile in Peenya on Wednesday. Gayatri Devi, 48, was a resident of Gaviganahalli in Chikkaballapur district. <br /><br /></p>.<p>She was riding pillion on her husband Lakshminarayanachar’s bike, lost control, fell down and came under the front wheel of a goods vehicle that was coming behind. She was killed on the spot due to severe head injuries as she was not wearing a helmet. <br />Lakshminarayanachar also sustained injuries in the accident and he is out of danger, the police said.<br /><br />The goods vehicle driver Tirupal, a resident of Nagashettihalli has been arrested.</p>
