I-T Department raids premises of Puravankara Limited in Bengaluru, other cities

The Income Tax department raided around 40 premises of real estate company Puravankara Limited on Wednesday, reported news agency ANI.

According to the report, the raids were conducted in multiple cities including Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Mumbai.

A search by the Income Tax Department was carried out at the registered office and other premises of the company, read an official statement from the company.

As a responsible company, all the concerned employees/staff are extending their full cooperation with the officials, it further stated.
