<p>Actor Vinay Rajkumar believes in giving his all to his movies, beyond donning the grease paint. After making a splash with his debut project ‘Siddhartha’, where he played a college-goer, Vinay is now back with his second project ‘Run Antony’. In this, he essays the role of a Christian boy who leads a normal life until a sudden sequence of events change his life. The rest of the story traces how the young man wriggles out of the problem. <br /><br /></p>.<p>Busy with the promotions of the film, Vinay says he has not only made sure that his own production is shot in some of the best locations across Karnataka but has also promoted it in entirely new ways. He shares with Nina C George his experience of working on the project. <br /><br />You seem to have undergone a makeover for the film...<br /><br />Yes, I wanted to appear very different from what I looked in my previous project. We had a stylist who has changed everything, including my hairstyle and costumes and also worked on my body language. <br /><br />How did you prepare for your character? <br /><br />This project has helped me discover several aspects about myself. The director and cast sat through a series of workshops on different aspects of filmmaking to understand each of the characters and look at them together in a larger context. This helped complete the shooting in less than 58 days. <br /><br />How was your equation with your co-star Ruxor?<br /><br />We shared a good rapport both on and off screen. This warm camaraderie between us helped strengthen the characters and enhanced our performance. It helps to build a good rapport with your co-star. <br /><br />What made you accept the script? <br /><br />When I heard the story, I didn’t have any second thoughts about accepting the role. The story was nothing like what I had heard before and it seemed like a very different take on the ordinary things. This is also one of the reasons we decided to produce the film. My brother Guru Rajkumar is the producer. <br /><br />How do you intend to promote the film? <br /><br />The film is being promoted through a campaign that I started. I’ve asked people to write about the things that they run away from. This page on Facebook has had a lot of celebrities pen down things they run away from. I also hope to promote it by organising a marathon. <br /></p>
