Prakash, 24, was found dead hanging from the ceiling fan of his house in Girinagar Tuesday night.
A school dropout, he had recently completed his SSLC through correspondence.
Prakash is said to have taken the extreme step, when his father had gone out for work and his mother had gone to a relative’s house. Sources said Prakash was depressed that he could not find a job for himself.
The incident came to light when his mother returned home in the night.
A case has been registered at the Girinagar police station.
