The Hollywood beauty, a mother of six children, toured a camp on the outskirts of Baghdad on Thursday where she met four families displaced by the continued violence in the country, People magazine reported.

The 34-year old actress who is the goodwill ambassador for the United Nations was moved by the stories of the families.

The Changeling actress sat and talked to a family of nine, rocking a newborn covered in a rash and asked them about their plans for the future.

Better future

“They are right to feel that it is not fair. I want to come back and find you in a better place and in a different situation. You need help not because you are poor, but because you are the future of Iraq,” Jolie said after the meeting. This is a moment where things seem to be improving on the ground, but Iraqis need a lot of support and help to rebuild their lives,” the ever positive Jolie added.
