<p>Kannada actor Syed Nizamuddin, better known by his screen name Sathyajith, is accused of harassing his own daughter for money. </p>.<p>Nizamuddin's son-in-law Ibrahem Khan filed a complaint with Banaswadi police a month ago. The complaint states that around 9.30 pm on January 12, Nizamuddin's elder son Naseeruddin and his associates barged into Khan's house, demanding money. Khan requested the cops to call the suspects to the police station and warn them. </p>.<p>Khan and his wife Akhtar Swaleha (Sathyajith's daughter) also filed a civil case in the city civil court around two weeks ago. </p>.<p>Speaking to reporters on Friday, Swaleha accused her father was harassing her for money. Stating that she is nine months pregnant, she said she paid him Rs 1 lakh per month for the past six months. According to her, she had paid him around Rs 42 lakh since her marriage. </p>.<p>Swaleha said she stopped the payments after her earnings dropped as she has taken maternity leave. She alleged that her father also harassed her husband for money. For his part, Khan said that he hadn't stopped his wife from paying Nizamuddin but claimed that the actor had made some videos and uploaded them to social media. The videos show Nizamuddin talking ill of them and how they had stopped the payments, he said. </p>.<p>Refuting the allegations, Sathyajith said he had sold his house and taken a loan for his daughter's education and that he had asked her to repay it. Stating that he has burnt his bridges with his daughter, he said he neither wants anymore money from her nor wants to see her for the rest of his life. </p>
