KSHIP sets up public response centre in B'luru

The Karnataka State Highways Improvement Project (KSHIP), a unit of Public Works Department (PWD) has opened a public response centre to address complaints and receive suggestions from people affected by road development projects .

According to a press release, KSHIP is in the process of developing and upgrading 1,813 km of State Highways across 18 districts in the State. This involves processes such as land acquisition, rehabilitation and resettlement, maintenance of forest and environment.
