<p>Bengaluru: The <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/ksrtc">KSRTC</a> has suspended an accounts department employee who allegedly forged the signatures of senior officials and issued fake orders. </p>.<p>Richard J, a junior assistant/data operator posted in the KSRTC head office, is accused of falsely promising to revoke a driver's dismissal and facilitate the transfer of two conductors to the places of their choice. </p>.<p>He promised to arrange the transfer of Nagarajappa, assistant skilled worker, from Shivamogga to Davangere. Chandrahas Achari, a driver from the Kundapura division, was promised to be transferred to Shivamogga. He took Rs 1.35 lakh from them. </p>.<p>Richard promised to reinstate Nagaraj NA, a driver, and pocketed Rs 60,000 from him, according to the KSRTC. </p>.BBMP chief reviews state-level Independence Day preparations.<p>He "fabricated" fake transfer and reappointment orders, attached scanned signatures of senior officers, including the Chief Mechanical Engineer, Chief Traffic Manager (Admin) and the then Managing Director, and printed them to make the forged orders appear authentic, the corporation added. </p>.<p>Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy ordered the KSRTC to conduct an inquiry and take appropriate disciplinary action. </p>.<p>Following preliminary findings, the KSRTC suspended the employee concerned. </p>.<p>"By sending these fraudulent documents to the above individuals, he not only cheated them, but also misused the scanned signatures of senior officials to create fake orders — an act that has tarnished the reputation of the corporation," it said. </p>
