Nigerian, with fake passports held

Shoukat Ali (26), from Kerala's Kasargod district was held when he attempted to leave for Canada on a fake passport.

The accused had pasted his photograph on the passport of one Jayaram Raj. He had come to BIAL for boarding the 1:30 am flight to Canada. He came under the scanner when the Immigration officials scrutinised his travel documents.

Nigerian national Johan Okoke (30) was also arrested when he attempted to leave for Finland on the passport of one Nabi Faseed Okoke, also from Nigeria. He too had pasted his photograph on the latter's passport. Officials said that John had arrived in Bangalore from Mumbai. International Airport Police have registered both the cases.
