<p>Bengaluru: Namma Metro didn't have to close train services between SV Road and Baiyappanahalli on Sunday morning, as announced earlier, as it completed essential maintenance ahead of schedule. </p>.<p>Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) had announced that train services between Indiranagar and Baiyappanahalli would start at 8 am, instead of the regular Sunday time of 7 am. </p>.<p>The curtailment was necessary to facilitate scheduled maintenance on the Purple Line between the SV Road and Baiyappanahalli metro stations from 7 am to 8 am, it had said. </p>.<p>However, the maintenance was completed by 5.55 am, and following train testing, services began at 7 am itself, it added. </p>
