According to the police, Venkatesh (45) was murdered when he was returning home from Hebbagodi industrial area where he was a security guard in a factory.
Around 3.30 am, the suspects attacked him and bludgeoned him to death. A few morning walkers noticed a body lying in a pool of blood and informed the police. The murder might have taken place due to an old rivalry, police added.
