<p>Bengaluru: Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda held a live interaction with citizens on Saturday, where he addressed various issues such as traffic congestion at the Hebbal Junction and the water tanker menace in the city. </p>.<p>Dayananda said that the traffic congestion at the Hebbal Junction had been accentuated by various infrastructure works going on around the area. "We have a serious problem there, especially during peak hours. The best solution is the completion of the infrastructure projects,” he added. </p>.Minor accident on Electronics City flyover causes traffic snarls.<p>Addressing the water tanker menace, the commissioner stated that the police were aware of negligent and rash driving and in some cases, drunken driving. "We are conducting special drives along with RTO officials to check vehicle permits and other conditions under which they are supposed to ply,” he said. </p>.<p>The interaction, which was streamed on social media platforms, included issues such as traffic management, rowdy activity, wheeling and bribery, among others. </p>.<p>The commissioner appealed to citizens to inform the police immediately via 112 in case of an incident of road rage. "Instead of recording it and posting it on social media, it is much easier to resolve it if we are informed immediately. The police response time has been very good and we will come to the spot quickly." </p>
