<p>Bengaluru: The Annual Convocation 2025 of the Institute of Allied Health Sciences, St John’s Medical College, was held on Tuesday.</p>.<p>A total of 199 allied healthcare professionals received their degrees, including 82 Bachelor of Science graduates, 39 Bachelor of Physiotherapy graduates, 24 Master of Science graduates, 9 Master’s in Physiotherapy postgraduates, 31 Master’s in Hospital Administration, and 14 Diploma in Hospital Administration postgraduates.</p>.<p>Established in 1975, the institute trains over 200 students annually in allied and healthcare sciences and is affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.</p>.<p>This year, 20 graduating students secured university ranks. Among them, Jangam Tejasree, 24, from Andhra Pradesh, secured the second rank in Master’s in Hospital Administration. “The faculty have always stood by us. This would not have been possible without their support and encouragement,” she told <em>DH</em>.</p>.<p>Sandra Jacob, 27, who moved to Bengaluru from Kozhikode, Kerala, secured the second rank in MSc MLT Microbiology and Immunology. “The institute inspired me to achieve more in my field and broadened my scope.”</p>.<p>Rev Fr Jesudoss Rajamanickam, Director, St John’s National Academy of Health Sciences, urged graduates to serve all equally. Solomon Satishkumar, Principal, Christian Medical College, Vellore, was the chief guest.</p>
