<p align="justify">The High Court of Karnataka directed the Dove Drive Without Borders Foundation to submit specifications under the law for constructing speed breakers.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">A division bench comprising Acting Chief Justice H G Ramesh and Justice P S Dinesh Kumar was hearing a petition regarding accidents and deaths caused due to potholes and speed breakers in the city.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">The bench also stated that the plea was in the true sense for the welfare of the public. <br />According to the petitioner, along with the potholes, lack of signage indicating the presence of road dividers and humps is a major cause of accidents in the city.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">The petitioner stated that in the last four years, 189 people have died in accidents due to potholes in the state.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">Earlier, the bench had issued notices to the state government and the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike in this regard.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">The matter was adjourned to January 11.</p>
