<p>Bengaluru: A car went up in flames along the Outer Ring Road near Doddanekundi in southeastern Bengaluru on Tuesday night, completely disrupting traffic movement for a couple of hours. </p><p>A white Maruti Suzuki Ertiga suddenly burst into flames around 7.30 pm, causing the occupants to scramble for safety. </p><p>According to the traffic police, nobody sustained any injuries. The fire control room received a call at 7.30 pm and dispatched a fire tender from the Mahadevapura fire station. The flames were doused within an hour but traffic had begun to pile-up till as far as Iblur. </p><p>The massive traffic jam lasted for over an hour as fire safety officers doused the flames and the car was cleared. </p><p>Traffic movement resumed slowly only by 8.30 pm and was restored by 10 pm.</p>
