<p>Bengaluru: On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) is hosting a painting and essay writing competition for children on Tuesday at Jawahar Bal Bhavan, Cubbon Park.</p>.<p>The event is based on the theme ‘Ending Plastic Pollution’.</p>.Bengaluru to get third mega park after 150 years near Yelahanka: Eshwar Khandre.<p>The painting competition is open to primary, middle school, and high school students, and will take place between 10 am and 11.30 am. The essay writing competition, scheduled from 12 pm to 1 pm, is open only to high school students.</p>.<p>Winners of both competitions will be felicitated during the World Environment Day event hosted by the KSPCB on June 5 at Tripura Vasini, Palace Ground.</p>.<p>To register, write to bngcitysouth@kspcb.gov.in. </p>
