Minister Satish Jarkiholi said that he cannot meet his elder brother and disgruntled Congress MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi for the next two to three days with himself too being busy with various programmes.

Speaking to reporters at Chikkodi in the district, Jarkiholi said, he will meet Ramesh only after two to three after completing his scheduled tours and programmes.

He said he was not aware of Ramesh not responding to phone calls made by Congress President Rahul Gandhi.

Jarkiholi said its natural that Ramesh was discontent for being dropped from the Congress-Janata Dal (Secular) coalition government cabinet.

He also added that the coalition government in the state was stable and three was no threat for it.

"People from the state have elected the government. We cannot behave as BJP leader Umesh Katti predicts that the coalition government will collapse in a week. MLAs weren’t stationery dolls to remain in shops," he stated.

He also reiterated his support for creating a new district in Chikkodi as the demand has been old.
