<p>Bengaluru: The Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) has stayed the notice issued against senior IPS officer Alok Kumar pertaining to an alleged audio leak case. It was alleged that Alok Kumar had leaked the audio conversation. The matter was handed over to the CBI and a B closure report was filed. Pursuant to this, the special court had also accepted the closure report, the applicant said. It was submitted on behalf of Alok Kumar that in 2023, the state government had taken a decision not to proceed further with the departmental enquiry against him.</p><p>According to Alok Kumar, the notice dated May 9, 2025, was issued at a time when he is due for consideration for promotion. Granting interim relief, the CAT bench said that the matter will be listed before a division bench on June 10, 2025.</p>
