CBI officers on Saturday vacated the flat at Prestige St John’s Wood Apartment complex in Chikka Adugodi where IAS officer D K Ravi was found hanging from a ceiling fan on March 16, 2015.

The officers, who had taken the flat into their custody, vacated it after the probe was completed.

The officers visited the flat, shifted their belongings and handed over the key to government officials. Ravi (34), a 2009 batch IAS officer, was staying in the flat when he was serving as Additional Commissioner of Commercial Tax (Enforcement).

A notice was served on Ravi's mother Gouramma for vacating the flat. She was seen weeping in the apartment complex.

"My son didn't commit suicide over a woman. CBI has ignored my plea for re-investigation. I will move the court for re-investigation," she said.
