Chappara Muhurtha for Krishi Yantra Mela

‘Chappara Muhurtha’ programme was organised as a prelude to mega ‘Krishi Yantra Mela-2019 and Dream Home’ being planned in Puttur on February 23 at the Vivekananda Engineering College grounds.

CAMPCO, Vivekananda College of Engineering and Technology (VCET), Vivekananda Polytechnic and Dakshina Kannada Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union Limited had organised the programme.

Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangha (VVS) president Dr Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat initiated the rituals. VVS secretary Dr K M Krishna Bhat and other dignitaries performed the Chappara Muhurtha.

Prof Prashanth from the Civil Engineering Department of VCET briefed about the event plan, layout design and arrangements to the gathering. The three-day event is expected to attract three lakh visitors.

Campco senior manager Ramachandra Kamath, DGM (Technical) Shyamprasad, VCET principal Dr M S Govinde Gowda and others also present.
