Like most of his predecessors, Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda too will avoid visiting the jinxed Chamarajanagar town, despite being scheduled to tour the drought-hit areas in the district on April 27.
As per his itinerary, Gowda will leave Bangalore at 2.30 pm in a chopper and arrive at the MGSV college grounds in Kollegal at 3.15 pm.
He will later tour drought-hit areas in the district, by road. In the evening, he will hold a meeting with the legislators and the district administration at the Male Mahadeshwara Hills.
He will camp at the Hills overnight and visit the Male Mahadeshwaraswamy temple the following morning. At 8 am, he will board the chopper from Kollegal to reach
Bangalore.
