CM conducts aerial survey of Bandipur

Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy conducted an aerial survey to assess the damages due to forest fire at Karadikallubetta, Gummanagudda, Bolanagudda, coming under Gopalaswamy Hill and Bandipur National Park on Wednesday.

The chief minister, who came in a helicopter directly from Bengaluru, did not land in Gundlupet. He conducted an aerial survey and proceeded to Mandya. No fire was reported in the region on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Balachandra, who has been appointed as the Tiger Project director of Bandipur, took charge on Wednesday and inspected the fire-affected forest region.
