<p class="title rtejustify">Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Thursday accused the Congress party of compromising with national security.</p>.<p class="bodytext rtejustify">Addressing reporters, he said: The Congress has an understanding with Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) and Popular Front of India (PFI). The two outfits are under National Investigation Agency (NIA) scanner for suspected relations with the Islamic State. This is the evidence that the Congress has ignored national security.” </p>.<p class="bodytext rtejustify">Chouhan demanded Congress’ clarification on its stand about national security.</p>.<p class="bodytext rtejustify">“The Congress has resorted to appeasement politics, risking national security at stake. The Congress has been concerned about its vote bank and has been appeasing minority for electoral benefits. Going beyond national security for electoral gains can’t be tolerated” he charged.</p>.<p class="bodytext rtejustify">“While the AICC president Rahul Gandhi is dreaming of becoming Prime Minister, Siddaramaiah is dividing the society on communal and caste lines. Of late, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has emerged as the top world leader. Due to him, India has emerged as a powerful nation. World leaders listen to Modi.</p>.<p class="bodytext rtejustify">The people of India feel secure as Modi is the prime minister. He has been able to check the spread of terrorism,” he said.</p>.<p class="bodytext rtejustify">Chouhan said that BJP was completely stressed the agenda of development.</p>.<p class="bodytext rtejustify">“Even when B S Yeddyurappa was the chief minister of Karnataka, the state was on the development path. The voters will vote the BJP back to power based on the development works taken up by the Yeddyurappa government,” he hoped.</p>.<p class="bodytext rtejustify">Regarding sharing dais with mining baron G Janardhana Reddy at Molakalmur, Chouhan said:” “I accompanied Sriramulu for filing of nomination papers. I don’t know who else was there.” </p>.<p class="bodytext rtejustify">“The results of the Karnataka polls would not have a<br />bearing on polls in Madhya Pradesh where elections would be held this year end,” he said and added: “Like in Karnataka, the BJP banks on development and would face the polls.”</p>
