<p>Congress leader Ashok Kheny on Sunday bowled a googly saying that BJP leader B S Yeddyurappa should become the chief minister again.</p>.<p>Speaking at a convention of Lingayat employees, Kheny said, “Though I am a Congressman, I still want Yeddyurappa to become the chief minister again.”</p>.<p>“The people should choose a good worker who is committed to the welfare of the people. If not, they will have to regret for the next five years. Yeddyurappa is a good worker. So I will support him,” he said.</p>.<p>Kheny, MD, NICE, also lamented that he could not complete the NICE road because of his caste. “If my name was Ashok Gowda instead of Ashok Kheny, I would have extended the road to Kanyakumari,” he said. Kheny was inducted into the Congress in March 2018 despite stiff opposition from a section of the party. He, however, lost the 2018 Assembly elections from Bidar South to Bandeppa Kashempur of JD(S).</p>
