DA hiked for pensioners

The DA hike for the employees was done in July this year, but it was kept pending for pensioners.

The government, through the order, has also asked all pensioners to give it in writing before Dec 15, 2009, if they are not willing to contribute their four months pension towards the flood rehabilitation work. Pensioners can submit this letter to their respective banks.
