<p>Bengaluru: Home Minister G Parameshwara said on Tuesday that senior IPS officer B Dayananda, whose suspension was revoked on Monday, will not be reinstated as the Bengaluru Police Commissioner.</p>.<p>Speaking to reporters, Parameshwara said: “He won’t be made the commissioner again, but an equivalent position in accordance with his cadre will be provided."</p>.Karnataka govt revokes suspension of former Bengaluru top cop B Dayananda and 3 others.<p>Dayananda and four other police officers had been suspended after 11 people died in the stampede on June 04.</p>.<p>The Home minister explained that the report on stampede had been discussed in the Cabinet, when it was decided to revoke Dayananda's suspension while continuing the inquiry against him. </p>.<p>While the suspension of Dayananda and three other police officers has been revoked, IPS officer Vikash Kumar Vikash, who approached the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) challenging his suspension, is yet to be withdrawn.</p>.<p>“Because he went to CAT, he hasn’t got this opportunity. If there is a discussion in CAT to reinstate him, we will consider it,” Parameshwara added.</p>
