Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr K Sudhakar advised against reading too much into his late evening meetings with former minister Ramesh Jarkiholi and his brother Balachandra Jarkiholi.
The three reportedly met late on Saturday and Sunday and discussed the developments surrounding the sleaze CD case.
"It is human nature to visit friends when we are facing problems. There is no need to read much into that," Sudhakar said, adding that he and Ramesh were friends and colleagues.
"It is not wrong to offer advice. I have shared some information and views I had about the case (with them)," he told reporters
While refraining from commenting about the case taken up by the Special Investigation Team, Sudhakar said that he was confident that justice would be delivered.
