Dr Saralaya passes away

Dr Saralaya started his medical career in 1973 and joined KMC, Manipal, in 1974. He retired as professor and HoD of Forensic Medicine from KMC, Mangalore, in June 2008.

He was one of the key players in starting the Medico-legal autopsy  in Manipal and Mangalore and held various positions in the Karnataka Medico-Legal Society, even as its president. Dr Saralaya is survived by his wife and three daughters.
