Gowda family deserves PhD in black magic: MLA

M P Renukacharya, the BJP MLA from Honnali, on Sunday took a jibe at former prime minister H D Deve Gowda and his sons, saying that the family should be awarded a PhD degree in shedding tears and indulging in black magic.

“Gowda and his sons are going on a temple run and are indulging in black magic so that they remain in power and prosper. They are number 1 in the country in this regard. Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy has no time to redress the people’s problems,” he said.

Renukacharya said Public Works Minister H D Revanna used to travel from Hassan to the Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru for the session, holding a lemon in his hand, every day on the advice of an astrologer. This, he did, till he was allotted a particular bungalow.
