HC seeks KFA objections on plea

The High Court on Friday adjourned hearing on a petition by 93 employees of Kingfisher Airlines seeking to implead in the winding-up petition filed by various companies.

Justice Ram Mohan Reddy adjourned the hearing, directing the company to file objections.

As per the petition, 2,100 employees have not been paid since the last eleven months, and the company has not deposited the provident fund despite deducting employees’ share.

The petitioners also submitted that their TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) had been deducted but the company did not deposit it with the Income Tax Department which was pressuring them to pay.
