Actor Prakash Rai (Raj) reiterated that he is anti-Modi, anti-Ananthkumar Hegde, anti-Amit Shah, and anti-Adityanath, here, on Tuesday.

He was speaking to media persons, after participating in a human chain formation, organised by Souhardhathegagi Karnataka organisation. "I have not spoken about any political party or religion or caste. I oppose only a few people. I have the courage to name them. It is my right also. I have nothing to hide. Amit Shah has asked MP Pratap Simha, also BJP state Yuva Morcha president, 'How many protests have you held in which tear gas shells have ben lobbed so far?'. Should I love the people, who create tension and violence in my state," he asked.

He said, it is not possible to love people who want to eliminate some religion or caste. "For me, children and youth are important. Development is important, not violence. First, I am a citizen, a human being. I have no caste, no religion. Let them name me Communist, Congress, Christian or Dalit. I have been telling them my name, but still they are labelling me again and again. For them, labelling the people is a job," he said.

"In a book, writer Devanuru Mahadeva writes 'Before looting the village, they ignite a heap of a haystack on the outskirts'. The same thing is happening in India now. So, issues like 'Padmaavat' film and communal violence are being created. The attention of the people are diverted from the real issues to loot them," he said.

"Leave the option whether to support communalists or not to the people themselves. People are not fools. If the communalists want to take the people head on, then we will protest. People will teach them a lesson. The number of people is evidence that the communalists will not be spared. This is a warning bell to those who try to disturb peace in the society," he said.

"Everybody knows who are communalists. When we refer to communalists, they are annoyed and they expose themselves. The people should not support those who support bloodshed, irrespective of their party affiliation," the actor said.
