<p>Chitradurga:<em> </em>The social welfare minister has assured that the government would implement the internal reservation among the Scheduled Castes within 20 days of the submission of a report by the Justice H N Nagamohan Das Commission, KPCC vice president H Anjaneya said on Saturday.</p>.<p>Anjaneya, the former social welfare minister, said that the Das Commission will submit its report on August 4.</p>.<p>“There is no delay in implementing the internal quota for SCs from the government side. The confusion revolving around AdI Karnataka, Adi Dravida and Adi Andhra among other communities has been resolved. In a first in the country, the survey was conducted using an app. The commission has collected empirical data and is submitting the report after analysing it scientifically. The countdown has begun for its implementation,” he told reporters.</p>.Karnataka Congress’ SC leaders huddle to discuss internal reservation.<p>Earlier, only the Union government was empowered to implement the internal quota. Now, the Supreme Court in its order has given the states the power to classify SCs & STs to provide internal reservations, the KPCC vice president said.</p>.<p>Alleging that the BJP is misleading Madigas, Anjaneya said, “Madigas fought for over three-and-a-half decades for internal quota. The Congress government brought curtains down on the struggle by constituting a commission and halting recruitment. But the BJP is misleading the innocent Madigas by instigating them to protest,” he charged.</p>.<p>BJP leaders A Narayanaswamy and Govind Karjol are creating unnecessary confusions on the issue, he said.</p>
