Nine persons were arrested and Rs 2.10 lakh in cash was seized in a raid, while they were allegedly betting on the IPL match between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers, here on Sunday.
Police also seized 16 mobile phones and three motorbikes. The arrested have been identified as Panchakshari of Haalahalli, Anilkumar, Devaraju of Labour Colony, Nagesh of Halengara, Anand of Bovi Colony, Venugopal, Shivraj, Madhu of Kanakapura taluk and Shankar of Labour Colony.
