Iron nail found in samosa in Udupi

An iron nail was found in a Samosa that was purchased by a customer from a shop near National Highway in Udupi.

Social worker Nithyananda Olakadu, in a press release, has stated that there were a number of street food stalls operating beside the roads in the district.

Food safety officials should inspect the quality of food supplied by the street food stalls. There are several instances of iron nail, staple pins and cockroaches found in fried eatables, including samosa.
