<p>Mangaluru: Karnataka BJP chief B Y Vijayendra accused Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of rarely stepping out of Bengaluru, suggesting the CM is afraid of losing his chair. "One wonders if he is the CM of Karnataka or just Bengaluru," he said.</p><p>Addressing the party workers during public meeting held in front of Mini Vidhana Soudha as a part of Janakrosha yatre, he said Siddaramaiah is not the CM of Karnataka, instead he is the CM of Congress party and accused the state government of following anti people, anti Hindu and anti-farmer policy and engaged in appeasement politics. </p><p>"After coming to power, the Congress led government has failed to take up development works in the state. The BJP workers should be united to remove the Congress led government in the state. After the BJP government comes to power in the state, we will take revenge for insulting Hindus in the state,” he added.</p>.<p>He sought to know why the Chief Minister has failed to release funds for development works in Dakshina Kannada. </p><p>"When the BJP government was in power, B S Yediyurapa along with the Central government had released funds to the tune of Rs 19,500 crore to the district for development works. The Congress led state government is only engaged in propaganda against the Central government and PM Narendra Modi and is claiming of injustice faced by the state , he alleged. In reality, the Modi led government has given Rs 2.85 lakh crore to Karnataka in contrast to Rs 85,000 crore given by Manmohan Singh government in the past," he said.</p><p>The state BJP chief alleged that after Shakti scheme was launched in the state, students in rural areas are inconvenienced without lack of bus services. Hundreds of bus services have been stopped. The government has hiked prices for registration fee for availing OPD services in government hospitals as well. SCP/TSP funds meant for the welfare of the Dalits have been misused by the government.</p>.<p>“It is the Hindu women who are falling prey to Love jihad in Karnataka. However, the state government led by Siddaramaiah had earmarked funds for the self-defence of Muslim girls . The government should have set aside money for the protection of Hindu women," he said.</p><p>Coming down heavily on the deterioration of law and order situation in Karnataka, he said despite police constables escorting one of the accused in the 2022 murder of BJP youth leader Praveen Nettaru , a youth managed to hold the head of the prime accused with both hands and kiss him on the forehead. “If the BJP government was in power, the anti nationals would have been shot by now.”</p><p>DK MP Capt Brijesh Chowta called the state government as thick skin and shameless for according 4% reservation for Muslims in government contracts, which is anti constitutional in nature.</p><p>BJP State general secretary V Sunil Kumar “when the BJP comes to power after three years, we will not forget all the injustice meted at Hindu workers. There is a need to create awareness among people on the maladministration, mis governance of the government to the people during the upcoming zilla panchayat and taluk panchayat elections.”</p>
