<p>Bengaluru: JD(S) is planning to organise a massive convention in May.</p>.<p>JD(S) national president H D Deve Gowda on Saturday said, “We are also planning to hold a massive convention in May. Some are suggesting it should be held in Mandya, Mysuru or Tumakuru,” he added. Meanwhile, sources said the party is likely to announce Youth JD(S) head Nikhil Kumaraswamy as the state president of the party in the convention.</p>.<p class="bodytext">“The preparations for internal elections at taluk and district levels to elect the office-bearers are going on and after that, the party president will be elected. Nikhil Kumaraswamy is likely to be elected as the state unit president of the party and an announcement will be made in the convention,” a senior leader of the party said.</p>
