<p>Udupi: Rakesh Poojary, Kannada reality show <em>Comedy Khiladigalu</em> winner and actor in Kannada and Tulu movies, died after collapsing at a mehandi function at his friend’s place in Miyar in the early hours of Monday.</p>.Former ICAR member demands CBI probe into Padma Shri awardee Ayyappan's death.<p>Though he was rushed to hospital soon after the collapse, he was declared dead. Poojary, a native of Tonse, Malpe, collapsed while conversing with friends. It is suspected that cardiac arrest caused the death. </p><p>After winning the <em>Comedy Kiladigalu</em> season 2 in 2018, he acted in Kannada and Tulu movies. He was part of runner up team of the reality show. </p><p>Karkala Town Police said an Unnatural Death Report (UDR) is being registered.</p>
