It is party versus Yatnal and others. It is not about persons in the party, but the party state president. It is unfortunate that former minister Aravind Limbavali is speaking about family and hereditary politics. Because, his wife and brother-in-law have been given political opportunity by the BJP,” Renukacharya said.</p><p>Earlier, BJP workers had expressed their anger to the visiting leaders of the saffron party in Mysuru, during a media conference on Saturday, demanding the expulsion of rebel leader Basanagouda Patil Yatnal.</p><p>The leaders, most of them former ministers, including B C Patil and M P Renukacharya, were addressing a media conference, when a few party workers stood up and started shouting slogans against Yatnal and demanded that the leaders expel him from the BJP.</p><p>The leaders were in Mysuru to pay obeisance at Sri Chamundeshwari Devi temple atop the Chamundi Hill. They also held a meeting with the party workers later.</p>.<p>Renukacharya, after speaking to the workers, asked, “Why did not Yatnal and his companions join the padayatra from Bengaluru to Mysuru, held by BJP leaders against the MUDA scam of Siddaramaiah? It is match-fixing. If he does not want, he can leave the BJP. Because of Yatnal, the BJP lost in three byelections, in Karnataka, recently."</p><p>MLA Virupaksha Ballari said, like Yatnal, he is also a Panchamashali Lingayat, but he does not support Yatnal. “Like me many MLAs and leaders of the community does not support Yatnal,” he said.</p>
