The state government has decided to move Supreme Court challenging a High Court order that struck down the list of 362 candidates selected for Group 'A' and Group 'B' gazetted probationers' posts from the 2011 batch.
The government has issued an order appointing advocate Raghupathy.
A High Court divisional bench comprises Justices H G Ramesh and P S Dinesh Kumar had struck down the entire list of 362 candidates who were selected by the Karnataka Public Service Commission, saying it was illegal. The bench was hearing a petition filed by 13 candidates who could not make to the list.
