<p>Mangaluru: Karnataka Legislative Assembly Speaker U T Khader said on Monday, a thorough investigation must take place in the alleged mass burial case in Dharmasthala. Let the investigation by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted by the state government bring out the truth, he said. </p><p>While reacting to a query on SIT probing the mass burials, he said a proper investigation must take place, the truth must come out, and legal action should follow. "However, arriving at prejudiced conclusions or judgement even before the investigation is complete is not right. The sanctity of a holy place should not be compromised. There is a need to introspect on coming to a judgement before the investigation is completed," he said.</p><p><strong>'Harmony is important than name'</strong></p><p>To a query on the ongoing demand for renaming Dakshina Kannada district as Mangaluru, he said “A name carries tradition, history, and culture. If there is a need to extend the duration of the session, the business advisory committee comprising the CM, the Leader of Opposition, and the Speaker will discuss and decide on it, he said. </p>
