<p>Gonikoppa (Kodagu district): A man died and another sustained injuries after wild elephant attacked them at Rudrabeedu village near Gonikoppal on Tuesday.</p>.<p>The identity of the deceased is yet to be established. The injured has been identified as Ajesh (40). He has been admitted to hospital for treatment.</p>.<p class="title">Range Forest Officer (RFO) Gangadharappa said that the elephant attacked Ajesh who was riding a bicycle. However he managed to escape with injuries. It latter attacked another man who was walking nearby and died on the spot. The deceased is aged about 45 years, he said.</p>.<p>The RFO said that three wild elephants were seen at the spot and an operation has been launched to drive them back to the forest. </p>
