Modi-Shah trying to finish my family: DK Suresh

Congress MP D K Suresh on Thursday charged that the Narendra Modi-Amit Shah combine trying to finish off his family politically.

Speaking to reporters in Bengaluru, Suresh, who is the brother of Congress MLA D K Shivakumar, charged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was misusing central agencies like the Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI), Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Income Tax (IT), to target his family.

"According to the information I have received, the CBI has procured search warrants against 11 members of my family. Modi is misusing all the investigating agencies to threaten anybody who is against the BJP. He has handed over all agencies to Shah. But my family will not yield to such pressure tactics. We respect the law," he added.

However CBI has stated that the names of D K Shivakumar and his brother D K Suresh are not included in the FIR and have not been served warrants.
