<p>Mysuru: In a strange turn of events, a woman who was “murdered” by her husband appeared in a Mysuru court on Thursday, even as her husband completed two years in jail on murder charges.</p><p>In 2020, Mallige, wife of Suresh went missing in Kushalnagar and a missing complaint was filed in Kushalnagar police station. Some days later, a skeleton of a woman was found in Bettadarapura (Periyapatna taluk) police station limits.</p><p>After investigation, the police submitted a charge sheet into the court alleging that the skeleton was of Mallige<br>and that Suresh had murdered her.</p><p>Accordingly, Suresh was arrested and has been lodged in jail. </p>.Man ends life after killing wife and two children in Karnataka .<p><strong>Video found</strong></p><p>Advocate Pandu Poojari had appeared for Suresh in the court.</p><p>On April 1, 2025, he found a video of Mallige with a man and brought the matter to the notice of the court. The court had summoned Mallige. </p><p>Police searched and produced her before the court on Thursday.</p><p>The court has directed Bettadapura police to submit a complete report of the case before April 17. </p><p>Now, the identity of the woman, who was presumed to be Mallige, needs to be established.</p>
