<p>Fans of actor Vishnuvardhan observed the second death anniversary of the actor in various parts of the city on Friday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Pathi Foundation of corporator M D Partasarathi had organised a musical nite at N Madhava Rao Circle, popular as Agrahara Circle, marking a musical tribute to the actor.<br /><br />Hit numbers of the actor were sung to the gathering of his fans, besides connoisseurs of music. ‘Nanagagiye e andavu...’ from ‘Sahodarara Saval’, ‘Thuthu Anna Thinnoke...’ from ‘Jimmigallu’ were rendered not once but twice on demand. Partasarathi, himself a fan of Vishnuvardhan, slipped into the shoes of a singer rendering ‘Thuttu anna...’<br /><br />Earlier, an orchestra party belted out hit numbers one after the other, starting from ‘Karnatakada Itihasadalli...’ taking the gathering on a musical tour.<br /><br />The good old buildings in the circle had worn a bright look for being illuminated for the musical evening.<br /><br />Most of the auto stands in the city were decorated for the occasion with buntings and portraits of the actor. Some had even erected arches, besides putting cut-outs of the actor. Soothing songs, exclusively from Vishnu’s films were also played. <br /><br />Going a step ahead, a group of autorickshaw drivers at Andani Circle in Vidyaranyapuram also distributed food to passersby.<br /><br />It was on this day, two years ago, Vishnuvardhan had suffered a cardiac arrest at his hotel room in the city.<br /></p>
