Shakti scheme world record certificate presented to Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah

Bengaluru: Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy presented the recently received Golden Book of World Records certificate and medal for BMTC’s Shakti Scheme to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Monday.

The free bus travel scheme received the recognition for “Most Women Passengers Travelled in State Transport Buses”.

Sharing his happiness on the occasion, Siddaramaiah said that the scheme had “empowered Karnataka’s women socially, educationally, economically and professionally.”
