Shiroor Mutt seer hospitalised

Shiroor Mutt seer Sri Lakshmivara Theertha has been admitted to the KMC hospital following severe health complications occurring apparently due to food poisoning.

According to the sources from the Mutt, the seer was admitted last night as he suffered from food poisoning. He is in the intensive care unit and is under constant observation.

He is also said to be out of danger. However, according to some other sources, his condition is critical and is said to have been vomiting blood several times.
