Excise department officials booked cases against two persons, in connection with the preparation of spurious liquor, at a coffee plantation, near Basavanahalli.
One litre of illicit liquor and 60 litres of jaggery wash were seized.
Acting on a tip-off, the excise department sleuths raided the spurious liquor preparation unit. Liquor and jaggery wash were found in the pots placed on the plantation.
