Confirmation of allotments and payment of fund and receipt of admission order was from July 26 to 30.<br /><br /> Karnataka Examination Authority had not issued the time table on the first day which led to confusions but was released on web in the evening for July 27 and 28. <br /><br />Confirmation had to be cleared for candidates with ranking of one to 40,000 on July 27, which was not done. Parents complained to officials of not issuing tokens as per the time table. They were worried as the last date for admission in the colleges was July 31.<br /><br />It was a bedlam at the centre here as parents and students seemed to have least information about the new process. While some were seen anxiously waiting for their turn, some blamed nodal officers for confusions created.<br /><br />Kodagu, Chamarajanagar, Mysore and Mandya come under Mysore region for the process.<br /><br />A girl from Mandya who got a seat at Ghousia College of Engineering, Ramanagarm, said, the system is good. “They issue tokens but complain of technical problems and postpone our appointment. This creates a problem for us.” Her father says, he had taken a leave for the process and going empty handed would be no good.<br /><br />Problems for other rural students are no different from this. They say they have come from far off villages and would be in fix if their process is not completed. Parents had the paper cuttings of the time table of rankings for the confirmation of allotment process which is not done. <br /><br />Speaking to Deccan Herald, nodal officer V R Shyamala Ramshesh claims there are no faults from their side apart from technical issues which has delayed the process, as it is being done at 13 places across the State simultaneously. “The servers could be down, due to which we are facing minor problems.”<br /><br />She says they are ready to offer service to parents till late night, but parents deny the offer. “We have even worked till 12.30 am on the second day of verification process.”<br />Among 400 tokens issued on July 26, 380 completed the process which continued even on morning of July 27, while 20 students had no proper documentation. <br /><br />On July 27, nearly 700 tokens for rankings of one to 20,000 was issued. Some parents preferred to come on the next day. Students should produce their acknowledgement to take the token while for permission letter, they have to produce, printout of allotment, verification slip, acknowledgement and additional of e stamp for medical students. <br /><br />There was even a mock allotment on July 20 for candidates to rehearse and get used to the new technology, while many have not made use of it, some are still in confusion after attending it.
