<p>Mysuru: Energy Minister K J George said on Wednesday said there is neither ‘kick’ nor ‘back’ in the issue of smart-meters proposed for electricity power users (consumers) in Karnataka by the electricity supply companies (Escoms).</p><p>Speaking to media persons, in Mysuru, George said, “I don't know why the BJP leaders make such accusations against me every time. The BJP has no morality. They make accusations about everything, as they think that they should oppose all government actions, being in the opposition. They made similar allegations regarding the steel bridge in Bengaluru. Now, people are suffering in traffic snarls, because the bridge could not be built. Some of the BJP leaders have gone to the court on the smartmetre issue. It's good that they went to the court. We'll answer them in court. But, the CBI report said I had no role in it. The CBI didn't even call me for questioning”.</p><p>In reply to a question, George said, “I am not a mild leader. I just keep my language courteous. I was once the Youth Congress president. I've worked in many capacities - in both party and government. If I were mild, could all this happen?”</p><p><strong>CM change issue</strong></p><p>In response to a query, George said, “Siddaramaiah has the support of both public and MLAs. He might be there for five years or even 10 years. The media itself has fixed November as the deadline. Let November come. Then I'll speak. The Congress high command and also MLAs have confidence in Siddaramaiah. The high command knows when to take what decision. How can I speak about its decisions?”</p><p>“The Congress government will be in power for its whole term of five years. Don't try to trap me by asking too many questions. You asked the question, and I've given the answer. Don't portray as if both the question and the answer are mine on the CM issue,” George cautioned.</p>
