<p>Mangaluru: An FIR has been registered at Mangaluru East Police Station after a social media post issued a threat to VHP leader Sharan Pumpwell.</p><p>Sharan Pumpwell has lodged a complaint stating that a message was posted through a fake account referring to a news broadcast on the Facebook page of a Kannada news channel, stating, "Next target Sharath Pumpwell. In another YouTube channel which was broadcasting news on the funeral of Suhas Shetty, another threat message — “Hit list” was posted against the complainant. The complainant alleged that the message was provocative and aimed at inciting communal feelings. A case has been registered under Sections 192, 351 (3), 351 (4), 351 (2) of BNS.</p>
